Possibly about to purchase a used Wesport 25' and can find virtually no info on this beachcat. Advice/info would be appreciated...and would welcome any tips on what I should be looking for when inspecting the craft before sail.

Not much info on the WP 25, but it is a multi-hull, so check:-
hull bottoms, for wear
check gel-coat for blisters and cracks
check integrity of hulls for soft spots
check tramps for deterioration
check standing rigging, ask when was it last replaced
check running rigging
check rudders for chips and cracks
Basically, just check boat over for wear and tear, but do so so carefully, after all it is your responsibility when purchasing an item to make sure item is in condition described. Keep us informed.
