That is a ridiculous auction. All have to be picked up on Sunday, but the auction does not even end will then? Kinda eliminates the people who would have to travel.

"make offer if interested in purchasing just one boat" in my eyes, it eliminates having to make 7 different listings.

that first p19 pictured looks to be somewhat complete with a nice tramp

I talked to the owner, what you see is what you get. He knows very little about them and they were on some property he purchased.

Thatd be a steal if you were close. Haul them all home, sort them out.. resell individually. Part out the beat ones.

If someone needs, Ive got a spare trailer near Ocean Springs that could be used. Ready to roll.. New tires, and bearings. Just needs lights.

im thinking about the 16 with the rudder and then tow it to the Sarasota sailing squadron and get a trailer form there.

sounds like a deal to resell but if i could get one i can only afford a 16

They were listed on craigslist and I sent him an email saying I was interested in all of the boat and in the email I also told him that I have 5 beachcat trailers, so removing them was not a problem. I put my phone number, and location (I live in Florida) in the email. HE NEVER RESPONDED.

Hey HullFlyer send me some jucy Prindle part's as a finders fee ;). That is unless you have some Hobie 17 parts cheap.

If there are any bids on ebay he may not be interested in t/he craigslist add anymore. You should message him through eBay. If I wasn't clear across the country I's be looking at em. I posted hopeing someone local there could make some good happen with them.

I sent him my messages before your posting. he listed them on 2 or 3 locations in Florida on craigslist. If the time frame he stated was true and he had no trailers then it was obvious he needed to try and sell them locally. I would have purchased them all if he responded. At first he had them listed at $3000 and then $2000. I am not sure if he could prove ownership, I was confused when a lot of the boats were missing sails, rudders etc. He may have been parting them out. It became a little to chancey(legally) for me to continue pursuing the purchase.

Ya it sounds like a deal for parting out more than anything. But in UT anything older than 1985 does not require a title for registration. I still have to see how hard it will be for my H17 as it is an 86. And as it was pretty much given to me there is no paperwork. The PO never sailed it.
