I'm tempted, always liked these beasts and this one looks like a deal at $3,000.

How did you search Craigslist? Did you manually search various cities, or did you figure out a way to search all of craigslist? I'm looking for a 21 SE right now, and if I can search Craigslist without having to go to each city it would be a huge time saver. While this one is nice and a good deal, it's probably a bit further than I want to drive. I'm in south Texas.

Everything is a long way from South Texas. 😆

This is true, but kind of why I love it. My mother-in-law is 10 hours away and still in Texas.

What's up with the Hobie 21's?
I see 5 for sale, (there are 4 in the classifieds), one guy has two.

I just want a big buoyant boat to put the family on for a cruise, and that will still go fast with 3-4 adults. I have no interest in the Sports Cruiser.

My Dad had one in the early 90's. It was a blast until you had to drag it up on the beach. It was eventually chewed up in dry storage by a plain roaming tornado.

Damon! That cat has you written all over it!! Race with crew over 12yo on that thing! Going into winter I'd bet the price is flexible... looks to be in great condition as well!

I have had good luck searching Craigslist off of Google. I type the following into Google;

Site:craigslist.org Hobie 21

Just modify what you are looking for after the .org for example; site:craigslist.org Nacra. It works well for me. Don't put any spaces between site:craigslist.org.

Come to the dark side Damon. The 21 is a sweet ride but not a trailer sailer's boat, unless you trailer it expanded. As far as family sailing, I have 3 kids and 3 adults with room to spare all on one side of the boat without feeling like a submarine. Boat comes alive with 2 onboard. I just upgraded from a H18M this summer and love the upgrade.

There is another 21SE for 4k on Hobie forums. Seems like it is either feast or famine when it comes to 21's
for sale.
