"Sea Moth II sail boat . Mast included."

I really appreciate it when they include the mast. 😀

It's not a "Sea Moth", but a Sea Spray cat. A very easy to sail & surprisingly fast little cat. Fleets in N. Ca and Calgary, Alb & B.C. Well worth $500 especially with a mast. Pete

It has a label on it that states it's a Sea Moth II by AMF/Alcort. Whatever it is, it's kind of cool. Looks fast, strange decks though but, yeah, those cross beams are really a huge diameter. Looks like it's built to last!!!

Pete has it, Sea Spray. They have been around a long time.
Hobie Alter stopped by a trade show, crawled all over one, then came up with the H14.
AMF badged some of them & put a sticker on saying Sea Moth, but they were built in Canada. You would need to see the original sail logo. The Sea Spray uses a "swirl", while the AMF badged boats used a logo that looked like a cross between a long tailed moth & a hummingbird.

There is a very active fleet in S. Alberta, on Lake Newell. The Sailboat Data page is out of date, there are still National held each year. This summer, the N. American championship was held in Osoyoos B.C., just north of the USA border, in some very smoky conditions due the forest fires last summer.
I sailed one once, they are quite fast, light, make a really good youth boat, & can be found in decent condition for not much money.
There are usually a few for sale on Kijijii in Calgary.
