HaHa, some of those ugly (built at home from plans) plywood boats are pretty good sailers. Don't think this is one of them. If the 6ft guy couldn't fit, I'm out...

One must admit, the workmanship is quite good.
I cannot fathom why the builder designed the hulls with blunt ends

Two guesses.
1. Kick stand to keep the hull upright for assembly.
2. Step for climbing back in after a swim.
