hello HHCA forum readers,

I would like to get into sailing Hobies and was hoping someone out there could help me out. I have some questions about what it would be like, living on the north shore and trailering it to Kaneohe Bay and other spots on the island. Where are the best places to launch? What is the surface of the boat lunch? Will I need four wheel drive?

If anyone would like to sell one, please contact me. I have boatbuilding experience if you've got a fixer upper but I'd prefer one ready to sail. Or if anyone is looking for crew, I'd be an enthusiastic crew member. I sailed Hobies as a teen and am looking forward to getting back into it. Is HHCA an active club?

any info appreciated, post to board or email diasurfer@hotmail.com.

Aloha,
John

John, come on down to Kokokahi Sail Club this Saturday 9am
We are located on the water behind the Kokokahi YWCA in Kaneohe. You can't miss us, just look for sixty or so masts down by the water. Saturday is a club clean-up day and a regatta after. Might be able to get on a boat or find one for sale.
The largest fleet now is the Hobie 20's but I don't know if you will find one for sale.
