Anyone have any thoughts? I was thinking of Clearwater or Fort Walton in the spring and have it as a stand-alone event to turn up the numbers. What do y'all think and what do we need to do to get a ball rolling?? Oh yea, I'm almost done with transcribing my tuning notes!

Fort Walton sounds better to me, Have you ever considered of having it over here in Panama City. Let me know what I can do to help.

You guys think you could let the 17's in on your fun? since we're in the same boat, figuratively, as you 😛

The whole idea is to get as many 14s on the line as possible. Adding another class would fragment the idea and intent. Good idea though; find a 14!

And the real scoop is....

Bob,
I just read some discussion on Catsailor concerning a 2003 H14 North Americans. Current plans are to hold the 2003 Hobie 14 North Americans Friday through Sunday September 26th to 28th on Rehoboth Bay in Delaware. The 14 event along with the 16 Womens and Youth will be held
just prior to the 16 open event which will be sailed Monday September 29th through Friday October 3rd. The event will be sailed from Rehoboth Bay Sailing Association, site of the 1998 Hobie 16 North Americans. We added the 14 event as NAHCA knew of no active plans for a 14 event.

Event Web site (currently under construction) www.hobie16cc.com

98 Continentals photos, results etc: www.rbsa.org/hobiecontinentals.htm

Bruce Andrews
NAHCA Secretary
Event Chairman

Now we know the rest of the story!

Bob,

The Nationals were right on your doorstep last year at the Mega.

There is a large group of 14 sailors that frostbite in Div 12 that should be well represented in Delaware. We had a great time there a few years back for the 16 Continentals.

I will be bringing both 14 and 16 for that event.

cheers
