so for the last year or so my family has been telliing me of a catamaran race on like independace in minnesota on the fourth of july, what do you guys know about it were any of you there? that was the day i had strong winds and no crew to sail with

The Bald Eagle Yacht club had one in 2005, (I don't know about 06'), but all the people in the race other than me lived on the lake. The launch was very busy, no where to park, and not very beach cat friendly. Check out www.fleet444.com to see the events that we have coming up in 2006.
