What have you found to be the best polish/restorer for your hulls? My 16 is looking a little chalky. Do you like MacGregor's? Starbrite? Something else?

Sandpaper. Yep, no kidding.

Depends on how bad the oxidation is. If need be, start with 600 wet or dry, used wet of course, then move up to 1000, then 1500, then 2000 if you can find it. Finish off with 3M fine grit rubbing compound. If the chalking is not that bad, you might start with 1000 to make the job easier.

It'll look as good as new.

I agree, I tried expensive color restorers which didn't work so out of desperation, I cleaned them with straight bleach them I used sand paper. The sandpaper made my old yellow hulls shine, I have an '81. I don't know what it does to the clear coat. I waxed the hulls afterwards and my boat doesn't stay in the water.
