I'm trying to get some really ground in dirt and stain out of the textured portion of the decks of the hulls of a 25 year old H16. Anybody have any tips or tricks to help get these deck areas looking good?

Thanks

Have you tried a pressure washer? If not, you may be suprised how much dirt and grime it will remove. Just be sure to use a nozzle with a wide spray, you don't want to chip off any gel or anything.

Try using "Outdoor Clorox. Home Despot carries it. Spray it on, walk away, then come back & lightly scrub and rinse. If that doesn't do it, then try Sno Bowl.

I'll second the pressure washer plan. Stiff scrub brush, and a light acid works well too.

Thanks guys, great tips. James, I see you also have an '83 boat. What are your sail colors (at least the original ones)? You can see from the avatar mine were

David,
I have the Blue Hawaii pattern. I really like it. Although I've recently upgraded to some yellow 86' hulls. I think the yellow looks pretty cool with the blue. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.
