From all indications from US Sailing Association it will be the H16. US Sailing Multihull Council is also planning a youth event this summer with the H16, now the H16 is the current youth and adult cat for the worlds. If you saw my previous post called "H16 News" it is also the Pan American Games multihull, along with other events. Of coure the NAHCA and IHCA are promoting the H16 for the ISAF worlds etc.

Good question. I know the youth qualify buy participating in the US Sailing Association organized youth qualifier, but am unsure how adults in the open and women’s categories qualify. I have emailed them to find out how and will let you know when I get a reply.

I understand there will be two qualifiers for the ISAF Worlds. Each will qualify a mens and a womens team. They are: Mid Winters West Feb 22-24 in San Felipe, Mexico and the other is Midwinters East Area Championship April 13-14 in Pensacola Beach Florida. If you have any questions contact Paul Ulibarri, Race Director. Caleb Tarleton
