My Hobie 16 has fiberglass rudder blades(I believe) that are in great shape. The finish is a little chalky. Does anyone have suggestions on how to refinish them?

Try buffing them with a rubbing compound.

I sanded mine with 400 then 600 then 800 wet sand paper lightly using soapy water. It hardly takes off any material. Then I buffed them by hand with some automotive rubbing compound. They are slick and look great!
