I'm new to cat sailing and need some advice. I recently purchased a 1974 Hobie 14. The boat is in average condition. I'm in the process of repairing the nicks and scrapes its accumulated over the years and would like to paint the hulls when I'm done. Any advice on what kind of paint I should use would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I used an epoxy primer and Dupont Emron for the topcoat. For lots of other opinions, click on the search button on the top of the page, type in "hull paint" or something similar, select "all post" an hit submit. You'll see that it's been discussed quite a bit.
Here's what mine looked like when they were ready to paint.

I'm repainting my '93 H17, only because I'm sick of this dull white color, and the previous owner liked to beach the poor thing on rocks
