I just bought a H16 with some parts missing and I was hoping to use some of the parts from an old H14 I have. What parts are the same? I am new to this so it is kind of hard to tell what I am missing/need.

I'm no expert on the H14 but, just from reading this forum over the years, it would seem that not very many large parts are interchangeable. Mostly smaller fittings; stuff like shackles, shroud anchors, gudgeons etc. They might have the same rudders/castings but I wouldn't swear to that either.

Have you seen the photos in his other post?
He needs new hulls.
