I have one of the early Waves that I bought from Kirk Newkirk in 1995. I sailed it in the Pensacola area, trailered it to Monterey CA & sailed it a lot while stationed there. I was transferred to Spain & had it shipped there where I sailed it in Cadiz Bay. I was transferred to Virginia and retired from the Navy while there. I trailered it here to Atlanta GA. I haven't sailed it much in the last 3 years but I just took it out on Lake Allatoona this past weekend. Though the wind was light I fell in love with it all over again. Any other Wave sailors in the Atlanta area???
We have a bunch of great Wave regattas you should attend, including the North Americans, North Coast Championship, the Nationals and we are hoping to get the South Coast Championships in Pensacola Beach this fall.
