Looks like plenty of east and west coast Wave racing. However, I live in Northern Louisiana and its a little far to trailer my boat to Key Largo FL or Havamega CA. Is there a possibility of racing in New Orleans or Houston areas (somewhere I can potentially get to)?
Houston YC held a Wave National Series Regatta a few years back. There is a Hobie Dealer there (or was) whose wife got interested and then suddenly uninterested.
Probably wouldn't take much to get some interest going there.
Also, Pensacola Beach has been active in the past, although not as much lately.
All it takes is some one to beat the drum and get folks out of the woodwork.

Yea, the Hobie dealer is still there. Its KO sailing and is who I bought my Wave from.
Perhaps I need to start beating some drums.
Carl and Cindy Bohannon were really big on the Wave in that area and might still be interested. They are regular posters on this forum. Don't know their email at this time.
