Does anyone know of any good camping spots in the upper to mid keys or in the mid to south Florida area that would allow one to bring along their own Hobie with relatively easy water access and some good snorkeling/diving?

There are lots of campgrounds in Key Largo and farther south. There are no places for free camping, however. Long Key Park is on a beach on the ocean side with access to the reefs for snorkeling.

We have a great place for sailing and one of the only beaches in Key Largo here at Rick's Place Motel and Sailing Resort. I believe our rates are probably lower or nearly as low as a tent site at America Outdoors. And all our rooms have full kitchens.

We are on the Bay Side of the island which is where all the boating activity and fun stops are located. But the snorkeling is on the Ocean Side where the reefs are. But there are very few lauching spots and relatively few beaches on that side.
