Anyone know where I can find a set of the original rubber elbows that connect the tiller arms to the cross bar. I have an old parts catalog with the part #38510001. I know it's a long shot, but hoping for the best before I spend the money on the upgrade kit.

We have been out of those for many years. There are several options for this now. Club Tiller x bar upgrade, Tendon (vertical tendon / current) upgrade. You could even use the old original tiller end caps and the bolt, spring and washer connectors. You could bend the tiller arms in to fit the crossbar you have... that will change the turning dynamics (ackerman), but would work in a pinch.
