A lot of the Put in Bay Wave Fleet are planning on going to the Stray Cat at Port Clinton YC, Port Clinton, OH
on July 12-13.
Really nice venue, great club, good beach and water. Wind is always iffy in the midwest, but that is Ohio for you.

I hope everybody with a Wave in the Midwest is coming to this regatta. It is a great venue, and they have a great race committee, great trophies, great hospitality, great food Saturday night. AND it sounds like really great wind for this weekend.
Four boats are going from Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. Would have been five, but Rick has cracked some ribs this week and can't sail. (Another story.)
The guys from PIBYC were talking about towing their boats over to Port Clinton with a powerboat, but I think they have changed their minds and are going to trailer them over on the ferry.
They might be stacking them four high on our flatbed trailer. Or they might decide to use two trailers. Big difference in ferry costs to the mainland and back. So I figure they are going to do their best to get four boats on the trailer.
I'll let you know how it goes.
So what happened there? Radio Silence! No one is talking. I couldn't make it due to my crash and rib problems, so cannot make a report.
I know there was good wind, but that is all I know.
