My tramp wires are fraying and I need to swap them out before they ruin the tramp. When I contacted my local dealer he told me they cost $50 a piece. 
Seems a bit steep for what is essentially a braided steel wire with a crimped sleeve on the end. Does this sound right? Are there any lower cost alternatives?
I also noticed in the parts catalogue a “Lace Rod” (41881011) and a “Lace Strap” (38970061). They are shown as part of the Wave Club tamp rigging but I can’t imagine what they are. Any thoughts?
