I can't seem to get any response whatsoever by email from the Ohio clan. They do not seem to participate in forums or email.
Having said that, I will be there along with the Miami boys...Mike, John, Jack, the other John, etc.
I also am hoping the Clearwater clan will show.

Is this the Date of April 13-15??....Because on the Calendar Spreadsheet that Rickk posted, they have a MWE at Ft. Lauderdale for March 23 or so.....Is this the Same race and one of the dates are wrong......OR is this two Different Races???

I"m going to try to make Daytona...I have a Hobie sail, 2009, I have a hobie tramp with Dyneema lacing...Is that legal?? Also the Harken blocks, I assume that is legal also.
Do I need to bring the Cat trax?..I assume we launch off the Beach into the Ocean?? Is that where they race? should be fun unless its 6 ft seas lol.

You are good to go and BTW, they have given us a waiver on Hobie tramp for this race only.
Bring your Cat Trax. It may be a ways to get your boat from the water to above high tide.

You may be more familiar with what to wear that time of year, for Daytona, than me. Shorty farmer John wetsuit and Spray top? Just spray top and regular shorts? Or shorty short sleeve wetsuit?

I would bring all of those and hope for a bathing suit and SPF 50!
I'm all Registered...I thought I'd run up there by myself, and when I told my wife, she said,
Wait a minute buddy, the kids are off school that week...we're all going!! Looks like our 17 yo daughter and her friend are also coming...we're getting there Tuesday before and they want to stay a few places down the beach, some
Spa" resort of course.....The kids are going to Fly back to Louisiana on Saturday though, because of school but my wife and I are going to move over to Perry's ocean edge for Sat and Sunday.
So a simple little Weekend Regatta has turned into a Major trip ...lol. Oh Well.
I guess I'll get some sailing in early ...lol..
