Wildcat Regatta Oct. 13&14
Wave Sailors... this is a great event, and would be even better with a class of Waves. Hope to see you there!... Janet and Hollis

Racers; and Partygoers,
It's nearly time for Fleet 11's WILDCAT REGATTA at Lake Eustis, October
13-14. This is our third year for the event at Lake Eustis Sailing Club
(LESC), located in central Florida about 40 miles north of Orlando, within
reasonable driving distance for everyone.
You will find the club grounds one of the finest venues for an inland
regatta, and the small town friendliness compliments the atmosphere. LESC
has begun preparation for the construction of a new clubhouse, and has
cleared the trees from the area where we typically like to launch. There
will be more of room for setup, launching and camping. Louie Adiano will
be our Principal Race Officer with the committee support of LESC. John Casey
will hold the prestigious title of Deputy Race Officer, and we hope he
doesn't get too excited about it and give up his racing career. Barbecue
dinner will be served as soon after we come off of the water, two dinners
included with your $ 30 registration. Richard Shipes will again be the
cookmaster, reason enough to be seen at this event.
We will again donate our proceeds to the LESC Youth Sailing fund, our
efforts to support the future of sailing and support our wonderful hosts for
the event.
RV Camping with water and electrical hook-ups is available on site. The
Regatta site is located on County Road 452 between the intersections of
State Road 19 and State Road 44 at the north end of Eustis, approximately
40miles north of Orlando. For help finding the site, clink on the Maptech

For you nautical nagrivators, the waypoint is N28 52.000 W81 41.500.
This message has been mailed to about two hundred Florida Sailors. If you
wish to reply back to me with a question, email correction or removal from
the Division Eight regatta email list, please do so. I am sure that we might
have missed some of your friends, so please forward this message to anybody
you can think of that might be able to come, or to anybody who might wish
they can come.
