[#17395]

I sold my daysailer (monohull) last year, wanted for more speed...and so, i pickuped a used Hobie 16 with trailer last week.

Where/when do you guys planning to sail? I live in Huntington. Is the Long Island Cat associate still active?

I've been in touch by email with 8 new sailors interested in getting together for buoy and distance races. Do you guys have trailers so you could sail out east in the Peconic Bays? There's a lot we can do out here. If not, we might be able to find a location that works for everyone. The Great South Bay off of Hecksher State Park or somewhere on L.I. Sound might work. Greg

Awesome! Can't wait to get into water.
I am about 20 minutes from Hecksher State park. Any idea on boat ramp permits?

Not needed. Launching is from the beach. I used the ramp the first time before I knew better. Everyone wondered what took me so long.
