Newbie here, with a Prindle 16. (I'm a newbie, but on the high side of middle age.) I live just North of Los Angeles, not far from Castaic Lake.
Would like to meet experienced Cat owners, hopefully willing to help me learn (at least) the basics of sailing at Cat. Appreciate help with rigging/set up too.
Let's hang out, have fun, whatever may be of interest.

Thanks!
Marshall

I joined that group I haven't seen a forum like this over there just a photo album, they are talking about going camping in the spring on Catalina just picked a date March 27th it looks like.
The regatta at the ABYC on the 22nd of Blowvember is the only thing going this month and it's my birthday.
I've been sailing 5 days this month down at Belmont shore where did everyone go? Oh well guess I have newboatitus.
At least theres free access to the ramp this time of year and enough wind.
