8th Vic Spinnaker State

Peter... I'm still recovering from the emotional scar left by being the first person rescued by your new boat <img src="<>/sick.gif" alt="sick" title="sick" height="15" width="15" /> I recall spending rather a lot of time stuck in your lovely mud, mast first. I've got a clash with kids sporting commitments but at this stage I'm planning on making the Sunday.
Cheers

So come on, we don't want to hear about who's not coming (understand you can't make it Matt and Tim's in England), but who is coming?
This weekend has offered some of the best spinnaker sailing ever in the past, great place to learn to go fast with your spinnaker and nice small fleet with short races (Sunday), keeps it all close. Prior to that you get to stretch your legs in the long race Saturday.
Can't beat the local hospitality either, make a long weekend of it, bring the family and enjoy the beautiful beaches and bush away from the crowds.

Hey Simon, not everyone posts on here, there are some old <img src="<>/sleep.gif" alt="sleep" title="sleep" height="15" width="15" /> mossie sailors that don't embrace such high tech stuff, give you a hint PWS <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" /> , was also attending.
But if you really want to improve your position in the fleet at the cat champs, why don't you see if one of those A classes that just sit around in the yard is available for me to sail? <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" /> save me stealing a Mossie from Eagle Point. <img src="<>/laugh.gif" alt="laugh" title="laugh" height="15" width="15" /> Gary at Petes place.
Hi Simon,
thanks for the offer of asking, was just kidding, but if somebody was game to lend me a boat and Insurance etc was all ok, I guess I would be up for it.
Anything to help improve your finishing position. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />
Gary (still at Petes place).

Think you must have mistaken me for somebody with a name beginning with B <img src="<>/crazy.gif" alt="crazy" title="crazy" height="15" width="15" />
Back from where and when ? <img src="<>/sleep.gif" alt="sleep" title="sleep" height="15" width="15" />
Anyway to busy sailboarding <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />.
Good call by Peter N on postponing the spinnaker states,
Had a great long distance <img src="<>/confused.gif" alt="confused" title="confused" height="15" width="15" /> sail on Saturday, Karma Cat was flying on awesome flat water and wind gusting to 20 knots, only problem was it was too fast <img src="<>/cry.gif" alt="cry" title="cry" height="15" width="15" />, with lots of reaching and only took 90 minutes <img src="<>/cool.gif" alt="cool" title="cool" height="15" width="15" /> .
But big wind <img src="<>/frown.gif" alt="frown" title="frown" height="15" width="15" /> came in even earlier than expected by 6am sunday and kept going all day. But it wasn't all bad, I got back to Paynesville and had a great sailboard <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" /> , using the smallest sail I have a 4.5m on my old narrow board, it was awesome and out of control at times <img src="<>/crazy.gif" alt="crazy" title="crazy" height="15" width="15" />.

I can't believe you guys don't check
MY
diary before booking things.... really!!
Couldn't have picked a worse weekend for me. <img src="<>/cry.gif" alt="cry" title="cry" height="15" width="15" /> but I shall endeavour to shuffle and make at least one of the days.... that's just the committed sort of bloke I am <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

Hope to have resurrected Thrice in time <img src="<>/whistle.gif" alt="whistle" title="whistle" height="15" width="15" /> see what happens <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />
But don't forget, all Mossies are welcome, even if you don't have a spinnaker <img src="<>/frown.gif" alt="frown" title="frown" height="15" width="15" /> . A great chance for Vics to warm up for Nats. <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />
