start of sailing season
can we have everyone post when there club is having an open day or start of season, or any other special event and how many races on that day.
would be good to get to a few open days.
or maybe do a bit of a bay challenge
Somers Saturday Western Port Sunday
Frankston Saturday Carrum Sunday
Port Melbourne Saturday Beaumaris Sunday.
or any other combination you can think of, just putting it out for comment would be good to sail in a fleet of mosquitoes a bit more. Get everyone together more often.
We are already into it at Adelaide, hot up series, all cats racing together to tune up, started last Saturday.

Started the season at Sugar loaf on Sunday, (thought Altona was going to be blown out). The tipans were there sailing there traveller series and had 8 boats on the water, and were happy to have me sail with them except when i got in there way (sorry Colin). 2 races were held with the wind shifting constantly throughout the day, and increasing to about 20 knots at the end of the second race. managed to surprise some of the tipan sailors by staying on the same leg as front runners.
All up it was a good day, hope to see lots of mossies at Port Melbourne on Saturday 4 October for there open day, weather permitting. If blown out i will go to Sugar loaf again. SEE YOU ALL THERE, COME OUT IN FORCE.
