Mozzies,6 in all,had 4 stimulating races in great and testing conditions. Ross Bennett,No Turbulence,got the flag with Touch and Go, Garry Johnson 2cnd on countback followed by Prestissimo,Jon Guymer, in frustrating pursuit,in 3rd place. In all about 40 boats appeared for a testing and enjoyable 2 days of racing and socializing.Finns and Tigers in force too!
For those that were not there. 4 races were completed 2 back to back Saturday & 2 back to back Sunday. the 6 Mossies had their own class.
Race 1 was sailed in light conditions and was won by Collin McEwan and his youngest son Campbell on XTC won, Jon Guymer on Prestissimo 2nd, Garry Johnstone on Touch n Go 3rd, Ross Bennett on No Turbulence 4th just passing John buzo on Courageous seconds from the finish line, Rob Lott on Grey Area was next in line. The lake had weed floating around which affected some boats (tangling around rudders and boards)more than others on both the Saturdays racers.
Collin & Campbell went back to shore to enjoy their victory.
Race 2:The wind was up and trapezing was the go.:)No Turbulence lead the 1st triangle but again found the weed and watched as both Garry & Jon sail passed. Results Garry 1st, Jon 2nd, Ross 3rd,John 4th and Rob 5th.
The over night leaders were Jon & Garry locked together on 4 points, Sunday racing was going to be interesting.
Race 3: Some of the weed had blown off the race area over night making sailing a lot more fun. No Turbulence lead from start to finish to record a comfortable win over XTC, Touch n Go, Courageous, Prestissimo and Grey Area.

Race 4: Jon Lead the 1st lap with Rob close behind followed by Ross, John & Garry. In the windward and return Ross worked his way to the front and by time the race finished the fleet had changed around with Ross in front,then Garry, Jon, Rob & John.
A great weekend with the overall place getters Ross 1st from Garry on a count back & Jon 3rd.
