Hi Guys,

I've Just put my Mystere 5.0 up for sale locally and on boards and outboards. I've fixed her up to be a wicked boat, giving her a new lease of life. Im not gonna give you guys the hard sell, you know what these boats are all about <img src=

I would like to say if anyone approches me about this vessel refering the this forum, I am willing to drop the price SIGNIFICANTLY (Subject to sense).

Thanks for hearing me out. The boat details can be found at boatsandoutboards.co.uk/

And if anyone wants more pictures/information, please get in touch.

I'm quite desperate for the cash at the mo, so im afraid she will have to be gone before the summer.

Many thanks

That doesn't look like the North American Canadian designed Mystere 5.0 at all! Very different hulls. Mine has skegs and nearly plumb bows as well as a square top main. Compare these:

Hmmm....any idea why photos won't show here?

I think that is an older model. I have seen one around up here (toronto)

I can post this one but when I try to add the boat and outboard pic things seem to blow up. So I uploaded it and added it to the post.

Thanks for posting the photos.

So you can see, these two boats are COMPLETELY different! I wonder which is the one measured in the Texel ratings. Is the red one a board boat? It looks like it has a deck lip like an old Prindle. Are those wooden rudder blades? The blade profile looks like my Canadian design, but then lots of blades look alike. My boat is boomless and your boom is unlike any I've seen on the other Mysteres. The beams are different as well as the mast hardware.

Are you SURE that's a Mystere hull and not some other boat with a Mystere sail? Anyone else seen a Mystere that looks like that one? <img src=
