We need to get going and get membership cards out to folks that are paid members.
Not sure,m but I believe that would be the job of the secretary.
And how do we go about it.
Very simply.
It takes someone with a laser printer and practically any word processor. And Avery Form #5371 Laser Business Cards.
With the Avery packet are full instructions for a number of word processors on exactly how to do a merge and print.
This should inexpensively answer our card problem.
Just need someone to do it.
It needs to be done.
Also, I will start procedures to join US Sailing. We need to get into the org. and then line up insurance.
Also, we need to think-tank our membership campaign for late summer and early fall and heavily go after the organizations out there to join as well as members.
We need to start advertising -- perhaps we can get some comp ads by Multihulls Magazine and Catamaran Sailor.
If not comp ads at least some articles promoting us.
In other words, I know we are busy sailing at this time of the year, but we have to really get into the program to be ready for the fall.
