Inasmuch as NAMSA is now a member of US Sailing, according the bylaws of the Multihull Council of US Sailling we are entitled to a seat on the council and a vote on all matters. (See the quote below on the bylaws)

So, NAMSA should have one of our board attend the meeting in California Oct 16-20.

Any chance any one toward the west can sit in to represent us?

"Bylaws of the Multihull Council Article 4 states: All organizations dedicated to interests of multihull racing who are members of US SAILING shall be entitled to membership in the council. Each member organization of the council shall be entitled to appoint from its membership one representative to the council and an alternate for such representative if it so chooses. Members of the Executive Committee shall be members of the council. Article 11 states: Each member of the executive committee shall have one vote and each member of the council shall have one vote at council meetings. Associate members are not entitled to vote. Individuals who are US SAILING members and are identified as multihull sailors shall automatically be associate members of the council."

Rick, I am attending and staying at Art Stevens home. He has asked me to take part on the Council. If no one else is going, will be glad to also represent NAMSA. Be sure to forward any issues you wish to have presented. Caleb Tarleton
