Please look at the Press Release by NAHCA in the Open Forum or link to it from the Headline on the Welcome Page.

NAHCA is not forbidding any cat classes other than Hobie to participate in a Hobie Regatta. They are saying that they have the infrastructure, they are going to keep it, and no one else can use it.

That is just fine. So, NOW is the time for NAMSA to step in and take the reins. We need to get re-united and we need to do it now.

It is apparent that we can offer regatta sanctioning and offer liability insureance with that

We will start running ads again in Catamaran Sailor Magazine to get the ball rolling, but we really need all of us to get going.

Let me know your thoughts.

Concur. Let me dust off the Regatta Sanctioning proposal from way back when and post it here.

I think we need a big "Hi ya! We're still here" letter in the next Catsailor.

I know the insurance road Jay was working on allowed us to sanction a few events - are we where we need to be to start offering countless paper fleets insurance?

I believe you can add events for extra money. Perhaps we could have a fund of some kind.
I know I hve the insurance brochure here somewhere.., if I can find my desk after running two weekends of major regattas and not answering letters or email.
I think Jay has it too.
Come on back, Jay, Over!

I didn't get one, but I'll try to contact someone over there and get another.

Stand by, over!
