Tami has volunteered for Associates Chairperson and Jake is VP, and Steve for a Committee.
We still need a Pres, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.
It would be nice if we could have a full house before the Tradewinds.
It would appear that no one is interested in heading this thing up as President. And since I have done most of the groundwork on this puppy, I might as well volunteer for the Interim President's job in order to keep the continuity.

I really believe this is the time and the place to get a much needed NAMSA in place and operating, so I will just have to forgo some of my other tasks.

Problem is that now we will need to go outside of our "circle" on the NAMSA forum. I'm Proposing two options:
A) recruit from friends.
B) post remaining positions on the open forum
I suggest that if we resort to B) that we should agree on some way to reduce any multiple applicants to the same position (perhaps an equal vote between the existing officers / council / committee). Any "nay-sayers"?
I will get a posting up today.
If you and the others -- officers, chairs and committee folks, or those just interested, it would be a good idea to send to my email below your full name, address, tel, fax, and base email address for records.
And then for private conversations we can develop an email list.
Would that be OK with everyone?

Ok, I've been lame - said I'd help out and then became non-existant through the holidays. Is there a quick guide to all the positions still needed - officers, committee members, chairs, etc. I've seen a few of what's needed mentioned, but it sounds like there's more. I'll see if there's a place I can join in.
