Rules: The International Sailing Federation Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, the prescriptions of US Sailing, as applied, and this Notice of Race, except as altered by the Sailing Instructions.
Eligibility: This event is open to beach catamarans 21 feet LOA or smaller. Boats must have an assigned US Sailing Portsmouth Handicap and are encouraged to conform to their Class Association rules. Any deviations of boat, crew or equipment from class configuration must be identified at registration.
Classes: This two-day event will be scored using the Portsmouth Yardstick Handicap Rules.
Scoring: The low point scoring system will be used. Cumulative corrected times from both days will be combined to determine final finishing position. Daily recognition of top finishers (both corrected and Fleet 32's
Raw Power
) and trophies for 1ST through 10TH places overall will be awarded.
Insurance: All competitors must carry liability insurance of at least $100,000.
Sailing Instructions: Sailing Instructions will be available at registration and can be found HERE for online viewing.
Advertising: Category C as defined by the Racing Rules of Sailing.
