I have writen John at cedarshark@aol.com twice now and have had no response. Once one November 28th, '09 and again on December 27th, '09. Can someone fill me in on what the deal is with this company? I'm really interested in building one of these boat.

I would be most greatful for any help in this matter. Or if someone has the plans lying around and would like to sell them, would be interested.

thank you in advance.

Glen, my set of plans are pretty beat up. I can help you get a set from John Rogers. I will call him and have him check his email!

Let me know if you need any help along the way.

Glen,
Do you plan on making a male mold for the hulls or a female mold?
What material do you plan on using?

Rob

Snow covered- Sodus was described as survival sailing, open areas of ice with concrete textured snow drifts. Canandaigua was covered- no open ice, so we did not go. Was sorry because I was away the previous weekend (in Phoenix with Dawn)so i missed good sailing.
The week before was AWESOME! I was in my first iceboat race. Used Pats boat and did OK, used Johns and I moved up a notch. Amazing watching the boats with the carbon fiber masts- they point 15 degrees better, and watching the boat stay flat while the mast bends is very cool. Still can't figure out how it works so well. Have you ever done hard water sailing?

Nope! I would like to try it this year, when conditions are right. Is there a boat to be borrowed?

You'll love it. Yes there are boats to use. We usually set up three of John's boats. He will match you to a boat with a plank suitable for your weight. They flex, and some are stiffer than others.
