2025 has been an amazing turning point for TheBeachcats. Thanks so much to all of you that have persevered through all the testing and new features.Â
I've considered these last few months and the holiday season a "soft launch" of the site, even though traffic is actually higher than the same period in 2024.
The most difficult parts like the Classified Ads and the Forums are doing well. One big positive is that the first classified ad paid renewals are coming through and the system seems to be working well.
All of this is and less than 1,000 members have even been notified by email that the new site is online and instructions to get back in. The rest of you have found the site and figured it out on their own, congrats!
Over the next couple of months I plan to send emails to the rest of the approx. 43,000 registered members. Hopefully this will cause a large influx of posts, so I am counting on you all to treat them with patience since they will be learning a new system just like we have during the year.

Absolutely, please everyone start spreading the word anyplace that cat sailors gather online.
Many long-time members kind of gave up posting here because of the problems the old (very old) site had the last few years. They need to be invited back and assured that their old accounts and posts are still here waiting for them.
For instance there are hundreds of small disconnected Facebook Groups started by individual beachcat sailors, let's unite!
