I raced and solo'd Hobie 18 for years out of Tampa. Been living in France for the last 10 yrs and am now back in Florida for suffient time to get back into it, and find lots of changes. Am looking for a boat to solo, race alittle and party with friends as well. Can I get opinion on performance of these 3 boats both as rec and race boat? Am looking for input on overall performance, handling (on water and beach), ease of righting (I weigh 150 will bag be enough?). Anyone have 2 cents to spare?
I'm not really up to speed with the FX-one, but the nacra looks great. I personally love the look and simplicity of the 570, however ther aren't many in Australia.... I'd say have a look at the F17 nacra, & FX-one is a little heavier on paper.
