All,

I'm about to put on a Black Max removable windex on my bowsprit. Has anyone done this, and are there any lessons learned on placement/mounting?

Your spin will snag on it if you put it out there. I would use a tale tail taped to the fore stay if I were you.

Yep. I've learned to sail entirely from the tales on the sail, and a couple pieces of cassette tape off of the bridles. Some put tape on the shrouds, I don't because I know I'm too lazy to look up. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

Disagree with you guys - sorry. There's no problem with a windex on the pole. I've never had a snag and I've had one there for the last 4 years......

All...I looked at it and it just made me uncomfortable, so I gave it to a buddy who is a laser sailor.
