Looking for info on 21se rudders, can you get replacements or are people just repairing them? Is anyone using 18 rudders on a 21se successfully? (they are 2" shorter, does it matter?)......Matt Miller, any comments?

I think the only place you'll find Matt Miller is on the Hobie forums. He's kinda like beetlejuice, if you say his name enough he will suddenly appear.
With fiberglass, apart from total annihilation I'd imagine anything is repairable.
I build Hobie 21SE rudders out of mahogany and wrap them in fiberglass. It is not too difficult to make your own. I do install Teflon bearing within the wood for the bolts to pass through, very smooth. 😎
