Broken bow tang (bridle attach)

Hi,
Well this is a major kick in the groin. I just discovered a large crack in the port bow tang. Crack goes all the way from inner hole to outer surface at about the 1:00 position. Another crack is just starting inside the hole at 8:00. A few good gusts and that guy is gonna let go for sure. So has anybody replaced one?

There's a good write up on a Mystere by MN3 I think. Similar construction.

but yes, i have replaced all 4 tangs on my mystere over the years
both writeups are on this site

PS how old is your 5.0?
where is it sailed?
