Can anybody point out where my main downhaul is? I can’t even tell where the previous owner cleated off.
You didn't show any pictures of the main beam. I'm betting that there were eyes with blocks on the beam on either side of the mast step. And the black Harken composite cleats on both sides of the mast (under the boom's goose neck) were part of that system. That would be almost similar to my F18's downhaul arrangement.... kinda.
Don't know what that SS plate is that is situated at the mast rotation horn. Seems like that is too high for it to be used as part of the downhaul, but maybe it was.
Then you have that mast track cut-out below the boom's goose-neck plate. Looks like something was screwed to the inside web of the mast track extrusion.
There's gotta be some owners manual somewhere on the web, or someone else here might have that... @texastuma might have some info.
