I am not familiar with this setup and I do not have the original gooseneck. Can anyone please explain. Is the gooseneck fixed to the mast and only the main is hauled down without the boom? I see in the manual pics there are cheek blocks, are they part of the gooseneck or just added to it? I learned on the sliding type of gooseneck that goes in the sail bolt rope track. Thanks
