We bought a Hobie Sport 17 about two weeks ago and we have been out about 4 or 5 times since then. Today we got caught in a nasty storm on a huge lake....it blew out our jib. It did not fuller up complete and it shredded it. My question is....the jib that is used on a Sport 17...is this the same size as on a 16 or 18? Or is this JUST for the 17? Thanks for any advice and help with this question. Hoping to get back out soon!

Does anyone know if the 16, 17 and 18 use the same jib? Anyone? Thanks!

The 16 jib has battens and is very different than the 18. I see the 18 jib being a possible fit, definitely not the 16.
