Some of you may remember that I looking at a Prindle 18-2 to purchase.
I asked the owner if the hulls, which are red, if they were gel-coated or painted and he said that "The hulls were painted with interlux epoxy paint"
Anyone familiar with this type of paint?
The boat is a 1989 model
Thanking you for your response
Jim

High quality, good lifespan, probably wont stain like gelcoat does (gas/oil from powerboats / and other crud in the water)

very commonly used 2 part paint. exceptionally toxic when sanding off (so you must wear full respirator gear if you ever sand).
