My first post here. Been lurking for a looong time. Great group of people here with TONs of info/help!! I'm a casual (read : Novice) sailor. Been sailing a few monohulls as well as a venturecat 15 (yeah I know) for a while now. Just got a decent Solcat 18 for free! So you cant beat the price. Everything is there, almost. Sails and battens are in great condition, hulls and steering seem fine. Replacing the running and standing rigging now. The only thing missing is one daggerboard. Anyone here have or know of someone who might have one?

Blair, My 1st cat was a Solcat and I loved it, very stable with a lot of room on the deck for family and kids,
There are a few drawbacks but all and all a good first cat IMHO.
I think I have a dagger-board and will check when I got home tonight, send me a privet message
