the solcat main halyard is 58' not 29' .

don't know. I don't have one was just pointing in the direction of information.

the solcat mast is 28.5 ft. long. the halyard has to double that.

if you still need an answer let me know and i can step out and measure mine.

The line would be 29', it is attached to a wire.

I cut mine to 28' and 32' , they do attach to the cables like US73 said.
I made the jib halyard longer so I can attach it to the self masting rig on my trailer
