Hi everyone, I am relatively new to the forum. I've been lurking for a long time and finally decided to make my first post. So the steering wheel on my Corsair 28ft cat is up for replacement, so I am thinking about choosing the folding steering wheel instead of a regular one in order to gain some more space: https://www.boatid.com/lewmar/lewmar-marine-miscellaneous-215049826.html
It's not a spacious boat by any mean, so any extra foot is valuable for me and my "crew".
So the question to you guys, is it a good idea, and are there any disadvantages of a foldable steering wheel that I should be aware of?

You have a 28ft Corsair Catamaran with wheel steering? What model is this?
