Hi!

The tiller that came with my boat broke and my spare is having issues telescoping out fully so I’m considering buying a new one. I have a P18 and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a tiller or about how far out it should be able to extend?

I just received a 68-131 for my Tornado and P 18-2. I typically go very far forward (forward of front beam). A local has one and it seemed very nice. I will find out exactly this weekend.

I think you can get away with the 62-115. This should get you pretty far forward and even be able to control the helm easily. (My 18-2 is 10' wide so I opted for the XL version).

Prindle 18-2 Mod "FrankenKitty"
Tornado Classic "Fast Furniture"
Prindle 19 "Mr. Wiggly" - gone
Nacra 5.8 "De ja vu"
Nacra 5.0
Nacra 5.8
Tornadoes (Reg White)

THAT is a small fleet! You can host your own regatta !!
