Does anyone know if vector works marine is still in business? I’m looking at a 2006 blade F 16 in Santa Fe, and need a source for parts.  their phone number just returns a busy signal and there’s no active website for them. I know they were into A class cats and were purchased around a year ago.  Ullman makes their sails but I’ll be sailing in a lake and I’m sure I will break a rudder or a dagger board at some point.  if you’re interested in buying the boat for parts, I can send you the Facebook link.

Thanks!

Rudders and daggers are reasonably easy to repair if they're made of CF / 'glass. I wouldn't limit purchasing a cat if it's manufacturer is defunct. Certainly, a current manufacturer does give one piece of mind, but that status can change in months or short years.  Sails, trampolines, rigging, etc can all be replaced by other services/manufacturers given proper measurements. My thoughts are that EVERYTHING is repairable if not replaceable.

Vectorworks may have been acquired by Cigarette Marine (Miami Vice boats).
