The Wild Thing Buoy Races will take place Saturday July 17th, at Rickenbacker Causeway. 10:30 Crew meeting. Please see my copy of the notice below:
"OK race fans, here we go again. Get Wild! Here is your next chance for the fun and excitement of the monthly CABB race. Dust off that boat and tune it up for July's buoy races. We will have four buoy races just off the Rickenbacker Causeway. The courses will be simple winward, leeward races. Anybody can do this. This is a chance to sharpen your sailing skells. You get to practice your starts. There will be plenty of time for daysailing after the races. The buoy races normally take less than two hours. The weathrer is warm, the water is warm. The wind are consistent out of the southesast. We are fortunate to live in one of the best sailing areas in the country. Come out and enjoy your boat and a great day on the bay. What the heck, give it a try.
Please bring a timing device (preferably two) to record your elapsed times for each race. Without accurate times we cannot calculate the race results. All races are corrected based on the Portsmouth ratin for your boat. Any boat can do well with this system. You just have to sail it up to its potential.

I'm really going to try to make this one. Robi, Look for me too, Hobie 18 with black mesh tramp, and white sails with orange and red stripe, (holy cow, I can't remember the sail number!!!!)
