[#20140]

All,

Could someone measure the approx Span, cord at the edge near the rudder blade and the cord at the end, I know that the plate does jjust about come to a point, but maybe just measure 10, 20 and 30mm in from the end please.

I'd do it myself, but I don't have my rudders at the moment.

Many thanks

Simon

The width of the rudder tip at the junction with the 'T' foil is 100mm. 30mm above this the width is 120mm and 60mm up from the 'T' foil the width is 140mm. The main width of the rudder is 190mm. I hope this info is of assistance but don't forget my rudders are set up so that approx 20% of the area is in front of the pintel fulcrum point. Thus the loads on the tiller are very light, it feels like an 'A' without the super (stupid) sensitivity.

I just happen to have a stealth t-foil in my garage (doesn't everybody?)! Overall span = 425mm, max chord at join = 103mm at 25% = 97mm, at 50% = 86mm, at 75% = 66mm.

Hope this helps.

Sorry. Didn't include detail requested in first post. 10mm from tip = 26mm, 20mm from tip = 40mm, 30mm from tip = 59mm.
